Hilarious is an understatement! I'm not much of a comic person but this is brilliant stuff. Will link it to all mine comic-loving acquaintances. With pride. :)
That just made my week - and I say this while I stare at a monday morning. Much love! Thanks you alots, contikki. :)
Quite a few families have 'kaveri/kaveramma' - mine does - (yeah, me :P) and I believe that's because our primary Goddess is Kaveri. Otherwise, there's generally a lot of -appas, -ammas, etc..you'd have come across these names! :)
haha the DGP uncle ..that's just a wig. These old men tend to wear wigs and they're almost always some shade of red. :P Heck, my grandmom owns an old one too!
heheh that was interesting to read and yes kaal pudi kaal pudi ennitu ennitu , bennura mule bend ayipopa :P (Bending to touch feet everytime would end up bending ur backbone ) !
Hey Merin.. nice one.. i've felt the same when i went to marriages, i'm not a coorgi, (mallu here!) :) but my best friend is a coorgi and my folks bein abroad i've preferred to spend shorter vacations wid my friend's family in coorg, and i have been to a couple of coorgi marriages, and also for huthri to kodava samaj.. but kaal pudi was never a concern for us coz being in an all veg hostel, the occasional trip to coorg and the yummy food was all tht mattered to us.. not jus for gettin something to bite at but coorgi cuisine as it is has always been amazing..ur cartoon btw is awesome.. hilarious to say the least!!
Haha not at all a problem. Honestly, I never appreciated Coorgi cuisine until I was forced into a hostel (higher education, thank you very much). Glad to come across someone who appreciates it so much! :)
Thank you for visiting Sridevi, you have quite an amazing blog yourself. :)
